We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new in-person DBT group in the heart of London Bridge, beginning on Wednesday, 25 June 2025. The group offers transformative power of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) face-to-face, in a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.
Whether you’re already familiar with DBT or looking to try it for the first time, this new group offers a supportive space to build skills, develop emotional resilience, and connect with others who understand the challenges you’re facing.
Why Choose In-Person DBT?
While online therapy has created more access than ever before, in-person therapy brings a different kind of energy and connection. Being physically present with others can make it easier to stay focused, feel seen, and practise interpersonal skills in real time.
The in-person DBT group in London is designed to make the most of that connection. Through weekly 90-minute sessions, you’ll not only learn DBT skills but also have the chance to use them in a real-world setting, alongside peers who are also committed to growth.
What Will the Group Involve?
Our in-person DBT group focuses on the four core modules of DBT skills training:
- Mindfulness – learning to be present in the moment and observe your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
- Distress Tolerance – building strategies for managing crises without making things worse.
- Emotion Regulation – understanding and reducing emotional vulnerability while increasing positive experiences.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness – learning how to ask for what you need, set boundaries, and maintain healthy relationships.
Each session is led by a trained DBT facilitator to include a blend of teaching, discussion, and practical exercises.. The group is skills-based, not group therapy, so you won’t be expected to share personal details unless you feel comfortable doing so.
Who Is It For?
This group is open to adults who are looking for evidence-based support in managing emotions, improving relationships, and creating lasting change. You might benefit from DBT if you:
- Feel emotions intensely or find them hard to manage
- Experience impulsive or self-destructive behaviours
- Struggle with self-esteem, interpersonal conflict, or mood swings
- Are interested in learning structured coping strategies
You do not need a formal diagnosis to join. Many of our clients find DBT helpful even without a specific mental health label – what matters most is your willingness to learn and apply the skills.
When and Where?
- 🗓 Start Date: Wednesday 25 June 2025
- ⏰ Time: 1:00pm–2:30pm (weekly sessions)
- 📍 Location: London Bridge (full address provided upon registration)
The group will run weekly, with consistent facilitators and a clear structure. Places are limited to keep the group small and supportive, so early sign-up is strongly encouraged.
