Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) has become a cornerstone in the treatment of individuals experiencing emotional dysregulation, chronic suicidality, and other complex mental health difficulties. To support professionals in advancing their knowledge and skills, DBT-UK is excited to announce our 3-Day Essential DBT Skills Training this February in partnership with Body and Soul.
This in-person training offers an unparalleled opportunity for therapists and mental health professionals to immerse themselves in the core principles and techniques of DBT. With expert trainers, a supportive learning environment, and a focus on practical application, this training promises to elevate your practice and help you make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you support.
What is the Essential DBT Skills Training?

Over the course of the training, participants will:

- Explore strategies for managing challenging behaviours, including chronic suicidality and impulsivity.
- Enhance their ability to empower clients towards emotional regulation and improved interpersonal effectiveness.
The training is suitable for those with experience in mental health, whether working in therapeutic roles or other supporting capacities. It is also an excellent refresher for seasoned therapists looking to strengthen their DBT knowledge and techniques.
